(i) Budding in Yeast

The organism named yeast is a fungi which reproduces by the process or asexual type of reproduction termed as budding.

In budding the following phenomenon occurs :

(1) First, a projection arises on the mother yeast's body which is like a bulb known as bud.

(2) The bud then grows and forms a tiny hydra.

(3) When the bud matures, it then gets separated from the mother and becomes a new individual.

(ii) Bread mold arising on bread

Mold produces spores in the air. These spores then settles on the bread surface as it contains moisture. These spores then by obtaining nutrients and moisture from the bread germinates and gives rise to a new mold.
