Question:

Draw line M, Draw a line N in which is parallel to line M at a distance of 4cm from it.

Answer :

( Figure is in the attachment)

How to Construct it ?

  1. Draw a line m.
  2. Draw a line aboveit which will be line N . If you will draw above it it will show that that is parallel. Parallel is the thing asked in the construction.
  3. Take a distance of 4cm from below to up and draw the line.
  4. Do the same process of more one 4cm line from below to up.

Why is it shown one more 4cm line ?

It is shown because it should be parallel like line m and line n is parallel so we can assume the 4cm line as A but one more 4cm line is because we have to make it parallel lines which is asked in the question.

Kindly Note :

By making 4cm line we have to point 4cm but then we can make more long line but 4cm should be down but after the first line we can't long line down.
