As we know that,

(1) = (-6,-3).

It is located in the 3rd quadrant on the Co-ordinates axes.

⇒ Abscissa = - 6.

⇒ Ordinates = - 3.

(2) = (4,-8).

It is located in the 4th quadrant on the Co-ordinates axes.

⇒ Abscissa = 4.

⇒ Ordinates = - 8.
