Explanation:

A solenoid is defined as a coil which is insulated of copper wire in the shape of cylinder. It consists of two poles i.e. south pole and north pole. The magnetic field lines are used to show the direction of magnetic field. It moves from south pole to the north pole while inside the solenoid the field lines is from north to south pole.
