the nucleus is the brain of the cell, it controls cell division, cell development and cell activities, the nucleus contains the genetic material(chromatin), and it also contains the nucleolus where the ribosomes are made (ribosomes are used to make proteins) outside the nucleus there's a nucleus envelope and the nucleus envelope has holes which are called nucleus pores..
