When the relative velocity of the two bodies are zero; that means they have equal velocity. Their position time graph would overlap.



If they have a non zero relative velocity, then their graph would not overlap

yashikant537: u will notice that if they travel with same velocity they will find relative velocity zero. so there graph will overlap as both will experience as rest
