Given : seg AB = 6.8 cm

To Find : Draw a circle with diameter AB.

Draw points C on the circle apart from A and B.

Draw line AC and line CB

the measure of angle ACB.

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 6.8 cm

Step 2 : Using suitable compass width and taking A  as center draw arc on both sides of AB

Step 3 :  Keeping compass width same and taking B  as center draw arc on both sides of AB such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step at X and Y.

Step 4 : Join X and Y intersecting AB at O

Step 5 :  Using compass width = OA/OB and taking O as center draw a circle

Step 6 : Locate a point C on the circle apart from A and B.

Step 7 :  Join AC and CB

measure   angle ACB. using protractor which is 90°
