• Deoygenated blood from various organs of the body is received by right atrium through superior and inferior vena cava. At the same time left atrium receives oxygenated blood form the lungs through the pulmonary vein.
• Now both the atria contract and deoygenated blood from right atrium is poured into right ventricle and oxygenated blood into left ventricle. Now both the ventricle contract.
• Due to contraction of right ventricle , the blood enters into lungs through arteries.
• The separation of both types of blood in the heart allows a highly efficient supply of oxygen to the body.
