  • Internal to the sepals are the petals, which together form a corolla. Petals are usually bright in colour.

  • They are green in colour and have leaf like structure in the outermost part of a flower. All the sepals taken together are called calyx.

  • It is the male reproductive part in the flower.

  • It is the female reproductive part in the flower.

  • The upper most part of the carpel. The stigma has a sticky surface to which the pollen grains stick.
