➡️Stomata (stoma in singular) are tiny pores present on the epidermis of the leaves, stems, and few other organs of the plants.
➡️Stomata help the plants in facilitating gaseous exchange.
➡️The borders of the stomata pores have specialized parenchyma cells, also called as guard cells, which help in regulating the stomatal opening size.
➡️The guard cells are responsible for opening and closing of stomata.
