In a distance-time graph, the constant speed of a car will be represented by a straight line. In a distance-time graph, a straight line parallel to the time axis indicates that the car is not moving. A curved line on the distance-time graph indicates that the car is moving with a speed which is not constant.

Speed or velocity is plotted on the Y-axis. A straight horizontal line on a speed-time graph means that speed is constant. It is not changing over time. A straight line does not mean that the object is not moving!
