The distance-time graph will be a straight line which starts from a certain point on the distance axis and ends on a certain point on the time axis. (shown in the attached diagram)

  • Here,the uniform reduction of speed is mentioned so the distance coverage will also reduce uniformly with the passing time. And, that's why the graph will be straight line.
  • Now,the straight line doesn't start from the intersection point of (zero value point) two axis because initial speed as well as the initial distance coverage is not zero.
  • And the the straight line ends on a point on the time axis because it took some time to reach the zero value of the final speed or the zero amount of distance coverage.
