• According to the question,we have to draw the electron dot structure for the compound formed between c and k,

We know that the atomic number of C is 6 and electron configuration of C is [He] 2s² 2p²

and the atomic number of K is 19 and electron configuration is [Ar] 4s¹

so there are 2 electrons in C in last orbital and 1 in K

Each K atom will take one electron from C to complete orbital..

So the structure would be CK2
