lithium atomic no.3 =2,1

similarity is that they both belong to group 1 in periodic table and both has same outer valence electron that is 1 as shown above.

difference is that sodium is very reactive as compared to lithium . sodium readily catches fire in the moisture in the air so they stored in kerosene oil.
