Draw the following figures in a single graph paper and also draw their line of symmetry.

Rectangle
Isosceles Triangle
Circle
Square

Step 1:

Please keep the following points in mind while drawing the above mentioned shapes in the graph paper:

Rectangle : It has equal opposite sides. For Ex: If you are planning to draw a rectangle with l=4cm and b=3cm then take four boxes horizontally for length and 3 boxes vertically for breadth. Join them using a ruler.

Isosceles Triangle: It has two sides equal in length. To make the drawing simple first draw the base. Take the midpoint of the base and fix height . Join the point of height with the points of base.

Circle: Use a pair of compasses to draw a circle.(For ex: radius=4cm)

Square : Remember to keep all four sides equal. For ex: if you are drawing a square with side=4cm then all four sides should be 4cm.

Step 2:

Represent the line of symmetry in a dotted line for each figure.

Write the number of lines of symmetry for each figure.

Step 3:

Scan the graph paper, attach with this document and turn in.
