area of circle = π(radius of circle)²
It means area of circle is directly proportional to square of radius of the circle.
e.g., graph between area of circle and radius will be parabolic.

see attachment , here we show the graph between area of circle and radius . Hence, it is clear that when radius increases , area of circle also increases.
