Draw the graph of 2x - 7y = 28 and find the points where the given line meets x-axis and y-axis.

EVALUATION

Here the given equation of the line is

2x - 7y = 28

For the the points where the given line meets x-axis we put y = 0

Consequently we get x = 14

So the point is B(14,0)

For the the points where the given line meets y -axis we put x = 0

Consequently we get y = - 4

So the point is C(0, - 4)

In the graph meets x-axis and y-axis at B(14,0) and C(0, - 4) respectively
