Step-by-step explanation:

1)let x = 1

y = 1

now 3x + 4y= 7

3(1) + 4(1) = 7

3 + 4= 7

7 = 7

therefore, L.H.S= R.H.S

2) Let x= 3

g= 8/2 (or 4)

Now, 3x - 2g= 1

3(3) - 2(8/2) = 1

9 - 8= 1

1=1

L.H.S= R.H.S

1) (x,y) = (1,1)

2) (x,y) = (9,8/2)
