we \: have \\  \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{4}  = 1 \\ 4x + 3y = 12

4x = 12 - 3y

 \frac{12 - 3y}{4}

putting \: y = 0  in(i)  \\ we \: get \: x =  \frac{12 - 3 \times 0}{4}  = 0

putting \: y \:  =  - 4 in(ii)  \\ we \: get \: x =  \frac{12 - 3 \times 4}{4}  = 0

thus, we obtained that the coordinates of 2 points on the line represents by the equation

 \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{4}  = 1
