Answer:

To find domain :

f(x) = | \sin(x) - x|

Separate the function into parts to determine the domain of each part.

f(x) = | \sin(x) - x| \\ \sin(x) \\ x

The domain of an absolute value function is set of all real numbers.

 For | \sin(x) - (x) | :

 x \in R

 For \sin x :

 x \in R

For x :

 x \in R

To find y intercept :

To find y intercept , substitute value of x = 0

 f(0) = | \sin (0) - 0 |

 f(0) = | \sin (0) |

Use trigonometric Table or unit circle to calculate the expression.

 f(0) = | 0 |
