x-y-1=0
x-y=1
letx=0 then 0-y=1
y= -1
letx=1 then 1-y=1
y =0
(x,y) =(0 -1) (1 0)

2x-3y=6
let x=0 then 2 (0) -3y=6
0-3y=6 y=-2
let x=3 then 2 (3) -3y=6
6-3y=6 -3y=6-6
-3y=0
y=0
(xy )= (0 -2) (3 0)

plot these points on a graph paper to get a triangle
and area of the triangle
=1/2×base units ×hieghtunits
hope this will help you
thank you

Hi !

1) x - y = 1
solutions:-

x = 2 , y = 1
x = 3 , y = 2
--------------------------------------

2) 2x - 3y = 6
x = 3 , y = 0
x = 0 , y = -2
-----------------------------------------

Triangle formed on x axis is Δ ABC [ see the graph in picture attached below]

Area = 1/2bh
b = BC = 2 units
h =  BF = 4 units

Area (ΔABC) = 1/2 x 2 x 4
                      = 4 square units
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Triangle formed on y axis is Δ ADE :-

base = b = DE = 1 unit
height = h = DG = 4 units

Area (ΔADE) = 1/2 x 1 x 4
                      = 2 square units
