• Draw the graph of linear equation 2x+3y=6 how many solution of the given equation are possible? Name the the triangle formed by given line and coordinates axes ? What type of triangle is it ?

• Draw graph of 2 X + 3 y= 5 and determine from the graph whether x= 7 , y=-3 and x= 6 and y= -1 are solution of the given equation.

2x+ 3y= 6

Therefore,  2x+3y=6

                or,2x= 6-3y

or,x= 6-3y/2

Therefore,  if y= 0,then  y= 3

If y= 2, then x= 2

If y= 4, then x= -3

If y= 6, then x= -6

Now draw the x-y graph and plot the x- y points .

Then, plot the points along the x co-ordinate and again  along the y co-ordinate and draw the triangle by plotting.

You will get your answer  by these  ways.

2x+3y=5

or, 2x= 5-3y

or, x= 5-3y/2

Therefore,  y= 1, then x= 1

          If y= 3, x= 2

If y= 5, then x= -5 and try like this by the same way and you can see whether it matches with the following  values  given  for  x and y.And draw the graph and plot the x-y points to show the solution  graphically.

Hope it helps you.
