take x=2, put this value in equation, you will get y=0. So you get one point 2,0. Now put y=3 in equation, you will get x=-2. So you get second point (-2,3) . Now put these two points (2,0) and (-2,3) in a graph. The graph cuts the x-axis at 2. To find where the graph cuts y-axis, put x=0 in equation , you will get y=3/2. So the graph cuts the y-,axis at 3/2=1.5
