1. Here first take x- axis and y- axis , which intersection point give us origin. Let give the name point A.

2. Draw the line X=4 line, which is parallel to Y-axis. Intersection of X-axis and X=4 give point B. Coordinate of point B is (4,0)

3. Draw the line Y=5 line, which is parallel to X-axis. Intersection of Y-axis and Y=5 give point D. Coordinate of point D is (0,5).

4. Intersection of line X=4 and Y=5, give us point C. Coordinate of point C is (4,5).

5. We see that ABCD is a rectangle. Where

   AB=CD= 4

   and

   BC= DA=5

6. So area of ABCD = Area of rectangle ABCD= 5×4=20
