Clearly, the equation intercepts the x-axis at (2,0) and the y-axis at (0,3), therefore we obtain a Right Angled triangle with one side 2 units and the other 3 units and the area thus obtained is: (1/2)*(2)*(3) = 3 sq.units.

Answer:

on solving equation is 3x + 2y = 6

on making a graph of this it intersect x axis at (2,0) and y axis at (0,3)

therefore area of triangle is 1/2 *
