take x=0. put this value in equation, you get y=-3. So you have got one point (0,-3). Now put y=0 in equation, you will get x=2. So you have got second point (2,0). put these two points (0,-3) and (2,0) in graph paper. The st. line cuts the x-axis at 2 and y-axis at (-3)
