draw the graph of the equation X + 2 Y equal to 6 and check whether the points - 2, 4 and 3, 4 laid on the graph or not

according to me
every solution have a position in the graph, whether it is in positive or negative side...
but also I can say you that I can be able to say that it is a solution of this equation or not...
x+2y=6. let take first solution (-2,4)
-2+2.4=6
-2+8=6
6=6
therefore it is the solution of this equation..
let's take the second solution(3,4)
x+2y=6
3+2.4=6
3+8=6
11=6
therefore (3,4) is not a solution of this equation..
