EXPLANATION.

Graph of the equation.

⇒ F(x) = x - 2y = 3.

As we know that,

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 0 - 2y = 3.

⇒ -2y = 3.

⇒ y = -3/2.

⇒ y = -1.5.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-1.5).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ x - 2(0) = 3.

⇒ x = 3.

Their Co-ordinates = (3,0).

Gɪᴠᴇɴ :

Linear equation,

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ \: x \: - 2y \: = \: 3

❶ Substituting 'y = 0' in the given equation, we get

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x \: - 2 \times 0 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x - 0 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x = 3

❷ Substituting 'y = 1' in the given equation, we get

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x \: - \: 2 \times 1 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x - 2 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x = 5

❸ Substituting 'y = 2' in the given equation, we get

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x - 2 \times 2 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x - 4 = 3

\tt \ \: :  ⟼ x = 7

Hᴇɴᴄᴇ,

➢ Pair of points of the given equation are shown in the below table.

\begin{gathered}\boxed{\begin{array}{c|c} \bf x & \bf y \\ \frac{\qquad \qquad}{} & \frac{\qquad \qquad}{} \\ \sf 3 & \sf 0 \\ \\ \sf 5 & \sf 1 \\ \\ \sf 7& \sf 2 \end{array}} \\ \end{gathered}

➢ Now draw a graph using the points (3 , 0), (5 , 1) & (7 , 2)

➢ See the attachment graph.
