Draw the graph of the equation x/3 + y/4 =1. Also find the area of the triangle formed by the line and the coordinates axes.​

so y=4(which will be our height of the triangle)

if you put y=0

x/3=1

x=3(which is our base)

so the co-ordinates are (3,0) ,(0,4) and the intersection of axis is origin (0,0)

so

the area = 1/2*3*4=1/2*12

=6sq units
