The values of x=2 and y=3 which satisfy both the equations.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Equation x-y+1=0 and 3x+2y-12=0

To find : Draw the graph of the equations. Using this graph, find the values of x and y which satisfy both the equations ?

Solution :

Equation x-y+1=0 plotted with red line passion through (-1,0) and (0,1).

Equation 3x+2y-12=0 plotted with blue line passion through (4,0) and (0,6).

The values of x and y which satisfy both the equations is the intersection point.

The intersection point is (2,3).

Therefore, the values of x=2 and y=3 which satisfy both the equations.
