Steps to draw the line on the graph. Follow the Steps below :

  • To plot equation of lines, we assume certain values of one variable and then obtain the value of the other variable.
  • Then we plot the obtained points and draw the line joining the points.

To check whether the drawn line is correct or not:

  • we substitute one variable from the graph and obtain other variable using the equation if the obtained value is equal to the value in the graph, then the plotted line is correct on the graph.

The obtained intersection of the lines is point (6,1).
