Given:- Draw the graph of the following linear equations, also find the point of intersection of the graph with the x-axis and y-axis : 3x+5y = 15

Answer:- [ For graph refer to attachment : ]

From the graph its visible that the line of 3x+5y=15 intersects x - axis at (5,0) and y axis at (3,0 ) .

Given: The equation3x+5y=15.

We have to find the point of intersection of the graph with the x-axis and y-axis and draw the graph of the given equation.

To find the point of intersection of the graph with the x-axis we put y=0and for the y-axis we putx=0.

We have the equation3x+5y=15

For X-axis:

=>3x+5y=15\\=>3x+5\times0=15\\=>3x=15\\=>x=\frac{15}{3} \\\\=>x=5

For Y-axis:

=>3x+5y=15\\=>3\times0+5y=15\\=>5y=15\\\\=>y=\frac{15}{5} \\\\=>y=3

Hence, the xandy intercepts are(5,0) and (0,3).
