Draw the graph of the given Polynomial and find the zeros justify the answer x2-x-12​

x = -3 and x = 4.

Solution :

We have, Polynomial

  \tt \dagger \:  \:  \:  \:  {x}^{2}  - x - 12.

Let's Try splitting the middle term.

 \tt \longmapsto {x}^{2}  - x - 12 .

 \tt \longmapsto  {x}^{2}  - 4x  + 3x - 12.

 \tt\longmapsto x(x - 4) + 3(x - 4)

 \tt \longmapsto (x + 3)(x - 4)

Both, are Zeros of given polynomial So,

 \tt \mapsto x + 3 = 0.

 \tt \mapsto x =  - 3.

And,

 \tt \mapsto x - 4 = 0.

 \tt \mapsto x = 4.

Therefore, the value of x be 4 , -3.
