EXPLANATION.
Graph of the linear polynomial.
⇒ y = 2x - 4.
As we know that,
Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.
⇒ y = 2(0) - 4.
⇒ y = - 4.
Their Co-ordinates = (0,-4).
Put the values of y = 0 in the equation, we get.
⇒ (0) = 2x - 4.
⇒ 2x = 4.
⇒ x = 2.
Their Co-ordinates = (2,0).
As we know that,
Zeroes of the polynomial = Number of times Graph cuts x axis.
Number of zeroes = 1.

Given :-
y = 2x - 4
To Find :-
Graph
Zeroes
Solution :-
y = 2x - 4
Using x as 0
y = 2(0) - 4
y = 2 - 4
y = -2
i.e (0,-2) is a solution of 2x - 4
Also,
Using y as 0
0 = 2x - 4
0 - 2x = -4
-2x = -4
x = -4/-2
x = 4/2
x = 2
i.e (2,0) is a solution of 2x - 4
It has 1 zero
