cosider y=x+4
put y=0, then we get x intercept to be -4
Put x=0 then we get y intercept to be 4
Acc to the graph, base is 4 units, height is 4 units.
Hence are is (1/2)*b*h
=0.5*4*4= 8 sq units. longest side is hypotenuse whixh is root(16+16) =root(32)
