1. Complete the square.

4x^2+4x+3=4(x^2+x+\frac{1}{4} )-1+3

4(x^2+x+\frac{1}{4} )-1+3=4(x+\frac{1}{2} )^2+2

∴Symmetry x=-\frac{1}{2}, minimum value 2

2. If coefficient of x² is positive, it would look like ∪.

3. Draw it. The graph doesn't need to be so precise. (If you are in a test.)
