Given : x = -(b-a)

a, b are constant.

To Find: Draw the graph

(i) b < a, (ii) b> a

Solution:

(i) b < a

=>  b - a < 0

=> -(b - a) > 0

x = -(b-a)   will be parallel to y axis on right side of y axis

b> a

=> b - a > 0

=> - (b - a) < 0

=> x = -(b-a)   will be parallel to y axis on left side of y axis
