Area of triangle = 10 sq units , Graph is attached

Step-by-step explanation:

2x = y  + 2

4x  + 3y  = 24

x axis => y = 0

2x = y  + 2 & y = 0

=> ( 1 , 0)

4x  + 3y  = 24 & y = 0

=> (6 , 0)

2x = y  + 2 & 4x  + 3y  = 24

=> (3 , 4)

(1 , 0) , (6 , 0)  , ( 3 ,4 )

Area of Triangle = (1/2) | 1 (0 - 4) + 6(4 - 0) + 3(0 - 0) |

= (1/2) | -4 + 24 + 0|

= 20/2

= 10 sq units
