To draw the graph of x+2y=6,put value of x and find values of y or vice-versa

1) put x=0

0+2y=6

y=3

mark point(0,3)

2) put y=0

x+0=6

x=6

mark point (6,0)

join these points and extends both the ends.

To find the value of x,at y=-3,from graph

put A point from y=-3 and join that point with dashed line upto x-axis.

A(12,-3)

so at y=-3

x=12
