Answer:

for graph plz refere the picture

Given:-

2x + y = 6  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: .............(1) \\ y = 2x + 2 \:  \:  \: ..............(2) \\  \\

To find :-

  • area of AEB and EDB

Solution:-

first we will take equation 1

and solve for y

let,

x be 0 , 1

now \: put \: x = 0 \: in \: equation \: 1 \\  \\ 2x + y = 6 \\ 2 \times 0 + y = 6 \\ 0 + y = 6 \\ y = 6 \\  \\ now \: put \: x = 1 \\  \\ 2x + y = 6 \\ 2 \times 1 + y = 6 \\ 2 + y = 6 \\ y = 6 - 2 \\ y = 4 \\  \\ same \: take \: equation \: 2 \: and \: solve \: for \: y \\  \\ let \:  \: x \:  \: be \: 1 \: and \: 2 \\  \\

y = 2x + 2 \\ put \: x \:  =  - 1 \\  \\ y = 2 \times -  1 + 2 \\ y = 0\\  \\ put \: x \:  = 2 \\  \\ y \:  = 2x + 2 \\ y = 2 \times 2 + 2 \\ y = 4 + 2 \\ y = 6
