ii ) y = 0 is x-axis .( Blue line )

iii ) x + y = 4( Green line)

If x = 0 then y = 4

If y = 0 then x = 4

plot the points A(4,0) and B(0,4) on a graph ,

we get x-intercept (a) = 4 and y-intercept (b) = 4,

Now,

AOB is enclosed by given three lines x = 0 ,y=0 and x+y = 4.

 Area \: of \:\triangle OAB = \frac{1}{2}\times ab

 = \frac{1}{2}\times 4 \times 4

 = 2 \times 4 \\=8 \: square \:units

Therefore.,

\green {= 8 \:square \:units }
