(0 , 4) , (0 , -1) , ( 3, 2)  are the coordinates of the vertices of the triangle formed by the two straight lines  2x + 3y = 12, x – y = 1 and the y-axis

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 3y = 12   Eq1

x – y = 1          Eq2

Eq1 + 3*Eq2

=> 2x + 3x  = 12 + 3

=> 5x = 15

=> x = 3

=> y = 2

( 3, 2)

at y axis   x = 0

=> 2*0 + 3y = 12 => y = 4

(0 , 4)

0 - y = 1 => y = -1

(0 , -1)

Coordinates of  the vertices of triangle formed by the two straight lines and the y-axis

= (0 , 4) , (0 , -1) , ( 3, 2)
