Although there is no formula of making a hierarchical structure of a news agency, usually a general structure is followed.

The publisher stays at the top.

Rest looks like: Publisher-editor in chief- managing editor-news editor.

Under news editor different editors report and under the editors sub- editors and correspondents and photographers work.

Writers can be of in-house category or freelancers genre.
