Multivalued attribute: Double oval is the notation

If an attribute can have more than one value then it is called multivalued attribute.

For eg. A teacher can be assigned multiple class in a school to handle his / her subject

Derived attribute: Dotted oval is the notation

An attribute based on one another connected attribute is called Derived attribute. For Example, A circle can have radius, degree and we can also derive diameter based on radius.
