In a nutshell, a spyware is a malicious software that is used for spying on victim systems. A spyware, depending on the level of access it has can collect the following data:
1. user key strokes : everything that the user types can be captured and sent back to the creator of the spyware.
2. web cam footage : it can also capture pics and videos using the victims webcam and send it to the creator of the spyware.
3. system / network information: it can capture system information like Mac address, motherboard number, etc. These information can be used to spoof as the user in the network.

These are some of the information that can be collected via a spyware. Users confidential information like card numbers, bank login details, etc. can be captured and used at the disposal of the creator of the spyware.

Answer:

PLEASE MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST..

Explanation:

Spyware describes software with malicious behavior that aims to gather information about a person or organization and send such information to another entity in a way that harms the user; for example by violating their privacy or endangering their device's security. This behavior may be present in malware as well as in legitimate software. Websites may engage in spyware behaviors like web tracking. Hardware devices may also be affected. Spyware is frequently associated with advertising and involves many of the same issues. Because these behaviors are so common, and can have non-harmful uses, providing a precise definition of spyware is a difficult task.
