Graphs are in the attachments.

(a) A man waiting for a bus standing at one point, on a bus stand.

  • There is no net change in position.
  • Distance travelled = 0
  • Just the time has changed.

(b) a man, walking on a level, straight and narrow road, with a constant speed.

  • Distance is changed at a constant rate.
  • The graph will be a straight line inclined to the distance and time axis.
  • Slope of distance time graph gives speed.
