Answer:

Concept:

Chemical bonds connecting the atoms of a molecule are located in structural formulae. A structural formula is made up of symbols for the atoms joined by brief lines that stand in for chemical bonds. Single, double, and triple bonds are denoted by one, two, or three lines, respectively.

Explanation

a) Ethanoic acid

The carboxylic acid family includes ethanolic acid (CH3COOH), sometimes known as acetic acid. It has a density of 1.05 g/cm3, which makes it somewhat heavier than water. Acetic acid is converted to vinegar after being diluted in water by 5-8 percent, and vinegar is mostly employed for pickle preservation. Ethanoic acid is also known as acetic acid.

b) Ethanol

Ethanol is a byproduct of plant fermentation that is produced naturally. It can also be made by hydrating ethylene.

As a solvent, a component in the synthesis of other organic compounds, and an additive for gasoline, ethanol is a significant industrial chemical.

c) Hexanol

Hexanol is an organic alcohol with a six-carbon chain and the condensed structural formula CH3(CH2)5OH. Its IUPAC name is hexan-1-ol. This white liquid is miscible with ethanol and diethyl ether but only slightly soluble in water. There are two further 1-hexanol straight-chain isomers: 2-hexanol and 3-hexanol. These two are distinct from one another by the position of the hydroxyl group.
