Answer:

Structure is in the attachment..

According to Bohr's model:

In an Atom electrons revolve around the positively charged nucleus in a definite circular path called orbits or shells.

Each Orbit has a fixed energy and this circular orbits are known orbital shells.

The orbits are known as K, L, M,N….Shells.

Phosphorus

Symbol: P

Atomic number: 15

Atomic Mass: 31

Protons:15

Neutrons: 31- 15= 16

Electrons:15

Electronic configuration: 2,8,5

Ist energy level- 2

2nd energy level-8

3rd energy level-5

The valency of Phosphorus (P) is - 3.

It has 5 valence electrons in the outermost shell.

Phosphorus is a non metal  & non metals has a tendency to gain electrons.

Hence, it will gain 3 electrons  to acquire the noble gas configuration.
