The broken chain : As Chains were used to fetter slaves,a broken chain symbolises the act of becoming free.

The bundle of rods or fasces : It gives messages that strength lies in unity. A single rod can easily be broken out not an entire bundle.

The eye within a radiating light : It stands for knowledge giving messages that the rays of the Sun will drive away the clouds of ignorance.

Snake biting it's tail to form a ring : As a ring has neither beginning nor end. It stands for Eternity.
