Draw three congruent circles. Draw a scalene quadrilateral (all four sides are of
different measures) in each of the circle such that
Case 1: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie in the interior of the circle.
Case 2: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie on the circle.
Case 3: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie outside the circle.
Measure all the four angles of the quadrilaterals in each case using a
protractor. Find the sum of the pair of opposite angles.

Given : Three congruent circles.

To Find : Draw a scalene quadrilateral

Case 1: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie in the interior of the circle.

Case 2: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie on the circle.

Case 3: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie outside the circle.

Solution:

Take 3 points

Use suitable  compass width

Draw one by one 3 circles using points as center and draw circles keeping compass width same

Draw   scalene quadrilateral

Case 1: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie in the interior of the circle.

Sum of  the pair of opposite angles  is not 180°

Case 2 : Vertices of the quadrilateral lie on the circle.

Sum of  the pair of opposite angles  is  180°

these Quadrilaterals are called cyclic Quadrilateral

and sum   the pair of opposite angles  is  always 180°

Case 3: Vertices of the quadrilateral lie outside the circle

Sum of  the pair of opposite angles is not 180°
